What is the Hackathon?

The MTS 2.0 Hackathon is a competitive showcase where teams present innovative tech solutions that align with Islamic values. You don't need to build during the summit — bring your recent solution and pitch it to our judges. This is about showcasing innovation, technical excellence, and real-world impact.

Prizes & Rewards

Compete for cash prizes, mentorship opportunities, and recognition from industry leaders. Top teams will also receive certificates and potential internship opportunities with our partner organizations.

Theme & Focus

Projects should align with the MTS 2.0 theme: The Muslim Edge — IMAN, INNOVATE, IMPACT. We're looking for solutions that demonstrate faith-based innovation, technical excellence, and positive community impact.

How to Participate

• Registration: Sign up when you register for MTS 2.0
• Team Formation: Form teams of 1-4 members (solo participation is welcome)
• Your Solution: Bring a recent tech solution — you don't need to build during the summit
• Pitch Deck: Prepare and submit a pitch deck presenting your solution
• Presentation: Present to judges and compete for prizes

Requirements & Guidelines

• Team Size: 1-4 members (solo participants are welcome)
• Pitch Deck: Required — must be submitted as part of your entry
• Solution Recency: Your solution must be recent. While we trust participants to act in good faith, solutions that are clearly outside a reasonable timeframe will be disqualified
• No On-Site Building Required: You can bring an existing solution — focus on the pitch and impact
